Company Profile
Corinium HR Management is an experienced HR consultancy offering a wide range of Human Resource services and solutions. Established in 1996 by Stephanie Allison, we have a team of professionally qualified consultants, who specialise in all aspects of people development.

It is our fundamental belief that an organisation is only as good as the quality of its people. As your business changes and grows to improve competitiveness and market position, your greatest assets - your staff - must also be developed so that they too are equipped to fulfil the challenges facing your organisation.
Our business is to help you and your company develop your people - from assessing candidates at the recruitment stage, through to performance management processes, and succession management techniques. We provide methods to assess individual or group training and development needs. And we design the solutions that can fulfil those needs within your organisation.
We provide guidance, assistance and solutions, efficiently and cost effectively.
We have earned a reputation for providing first class consultancy and support services and have among our client list many internationally renowned companies from across a range of business sectors: from utilities and financial services to distribution and consultancies. We have worked with clients both in the UK and overseas in countries as diverse as Pakistan and Poland, United Arab Emirates and Ireland. Our projects have ranged from migrating staff to new call centre environments, developing engineering team leaders on large power plant sites; recruiting graduates for IT consultancies, and providing psychometric assessment for Health Authorities. We are equally proud of our work for our smaller clients, some of whom have no specialist in-house HR team of their own. For these clients we are able to provide a more comprehensive support service.
Our areas of expertise cover all aspects of developing people within organisations, including:
Competency Design and Development, Assessment Centre Design, Development Centre Design, Psychometric Appraisal, Leadership Development, Behavioural Skills Training, 360° Personal Development Feedback, Coaching, Facilitation and Training Solutions
In all that we do we remain committed to three clear aims:
- to provide you with honest, practical advice and solutions,
- to ensure our solutions support your wider business objectives, and
- to work in partnership with you, supporting and complementing your own internal resources.

Fire and Health and Safety
Corinium Human Resource Management provide high quality Fire, Health and Safety services to organisations working in partnership with our clients to ensure that their staff operate safely in the workplace by reducing the likelihood of fire, injury and illness. This reduces the likelihood of business disruption and therefore supports quality, efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.
Managing safety in this way enables the organisation to learn directly from Fire, Health and Safety professionals from Corinium Human Resource management Ltd, ensuring that managers and staff operate safely after our intervention.
Whilst it is a legislative requirement to conform to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and the Fire Safety Order 2005, organisations who value their staff will want to ensure that everything possible is done to maximise the welfare and safety of their staff.
Our Consultants have public and professional liability insurance and have been directly involved in Fire Safety and Health and Safety, each having over 25 years experience as managers within Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
The skills and knowledge formed over this time include, as a basis, a wide range of professional qualifications gained through the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and the Institute of Fire Engineers examinations. This is further supported through experience gained during their careers in the Fire Safety and Community Safety departments of the Service.
A large part of their managerial role was to ensure that staff safety was managed and maintained by carrying out a systematic approach to the organisation of health and safety, including carrying out Risk Assessments for the Service and training all levels of staff in safety management.
The Consultants also dealt directly with the public, commerce and industry when undertaking Risk Assessments, with particular emphasis on supporting and informing the managers and staff of these organisations. This enabled the managers and staff to provide greater control over the safety aspects of their work, thereby reducing hazards and risks and avoiding or reducing the individual or organisational risks.
Our Safety Director
Our Safety Director is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and a Graduate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (GiFire). He is fully qualified in both Health and Safety and Environmental Management (NEBOSH qualified).
He is a health and safety practitioner having over 25 years experience as a safety manager with 5 years direct experience as Health and Safety Advisor for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS). In this role he provided strategic and practical solutions to ensure the safety of operational and support staff. This included the provision of safety plans, a systematic approach to the organisation of health and safety, carrying out Risk Assessments, training in Health and Safety and providing control measures to significantly reduce hazards and risks. He now provides these services to client organisations.
